At Sunlight, baptism is performed by an ordained minister of the Word (pastor) or commissioned pastor.<\/p>

The usual method of baptism is by the sprinkling of water on the forehead of the person to be baptized, but other methods (such as immersion) may also be used.<\/p>

Sunlight employs infant baptism (for children of believing parents) as well as adult baptism (for adults who join but have not previously been baptized in a Christian church); an adult who is baptized is also called upon to make a public profession of his or her faith in Christ. The core mission of our church revolves around spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and nurturing the growth of faith among as many individuals as possible.<\/p>

One significant way for achieving this mission is through active participation in our community groups, where like-minded individuals come together. Within these groups, we dive deeper into God’s Word, provide care and support for one another, offer praise to God for His greatness and deeds, and seek His guidance through prayer.<\/p>
