Public Reading of Scripture helps us remember who God is, who we are, and who God calls us to be. If you try to read through the whole Bible on your own, it’s easy to get sidetracked. Listening in a community provides a natural community. This is an easy, accessible way for anyone to get into Scripture. Hearing the Bible read aloud offers a different perspective than reading silently. Listening to the words allows us to absorb the content more deeply.
We spend about 45 min listening to a dramatic reading of scripture (NLT). Then we spend 15 min talking about what we thought about. Join us in-person in our Sunlight Living Room! Lunch provided!
