“Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2

At Sunlight we believe in living a Jesus life! Jesus tells us to love others as he has loved us. He says our love for one another will be a demonstration of the fact that we are His disciples, (John 13:34-35). If you are in need of prayer, food assistance, visitation, or going through other life difficulties we want you to know that you are not alone. Here are some of the ways at Sunlight we hope to share the love of Christ with you.

How Our Care Ministry is Working Through God

Prayer

Sunlight’s prayer teams and groups are passionate about lifting your prayer requests up to God. We all need prayer and when the people of God gather to pray amazing things happen! If you would like our prayer teams to be in prayer for you please fill out the request form below.

Sunlight Care Ministers

Utilizing the training of Stephen Ministries, Sunlight equips laypeople to provide one-to-one Christian Care to people in our church and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Sunlight Care Ministers also provide visitation for those in hospitals, care facilities,  and those who are homebound.

Sunlight Care Ministry is a confidential ministry. If you are going through a hard time and could benefit from meeting weekly with the care minister, we want to assure you the identity of those receiving care and everything they discuss with a Sunlight Care Minister will remain private. If you would like to talk to a Sunlight Care Minister, request visitation, or if you are interested in becoming a Sunlight Care Minister please email: jeff@sunlightcc.org

Food Pantry

If you or someone you know is unsure of where the next meal will come from, we want to help. The link below is a care request form, please feel free to fill it out and check the box for food insecurity. In the comment box let us know how many adults and children are part of the family in need. Reaching out for help can be hard sometimes but we encourage you to reach out if you need assistance.

Care Portal

Through CarePortal local churches can help out foster families and those most vulnerable in our community. CarePortal connects the agencies working with these families with local churches to help families and prevent kids from entering the foster care system in the first place. If you would like to see or help the needs that are in our community right now click the link below.
