CloseIn this powerful sermon from Matthew 14, we explore one of the most dramatic miracles in the Gospels: Jesus walking on water. As the disciples battle fear, darkness, and a violent storm on the Sea of Galilee, Jesus comes to them in the middle of their chaos—not after the storm, but through it. This message reveals that storms in life are not always signs that God has abandoned us; sometimes they are the very place where He forms our faith, reveals His presence, and shows His power. Through Peter stepping out of the boat, sinking in fear, and being rescued by Christ, we are reminded how easy it is to focus on the wind and waves instead of the Savior. Most importantly, Jesus declares Himself as the great “I AM,” the Lord over creation, the One who rules the sea, calms fear, and lifts us when we fall. If you are facing anxiety, loss, financial pressure, sickness, confusion, or spiritual exhaustion, this sermon will encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus—the Lord over every storm.
