Scott Vander Ploeg
Pastor sênior da Sunlight Community Church
Pastor Scott Vander Ploeg grew up in the church but really didn’t make his faith his own until he started reading the Bible. He spent a year as a missionary in Nigeria with his wife Andrea and became pastor of Sunlight after. Now he’s been here since 2004 and has 3 wonderful daughters.
Aaron Mamuyac
Campus Pastor of Saint Lucie West
O pastor Aaron Mamuyac está na equipe desde 2005. Ele começou aqui como estagiário, onde desenvolveu sua fé e se tornou Diretor de Jovens. Seu coração para servir permitiu que ele continuasse a florescer para levá-lo a se tornar nosso pastor do campus principal em Port Saint Lucie.

Jeff Huntley
Pastor & Director of Care Ministries
Pastor Jeff Huntley first came to Sunlight in 2014 and it quickly became home. He’s been involved in Community groups, and he came on staff in 2022 as Care Director to help oversee our care team and community group ministries.
Heather Cohen
Diretor de Operações do Campus
Heather Cohen first came to Sunlight when she was looking for a Christian preschool for her 3 year old son. She loved it so much here, she never left! She has worked for Sunlight since 2008. She is currently the Director of Campus Operations for SCC and SCA where she supports the church and school in whatever they may need.
Andrea Vander Ploeg
Director of Children's Ministries
When Andrea and Scott came to Sunlight in 2003, Andrea was so excited to begin working on a children's ministry here as there were only a few kids at the church. She, along with Karyn Dekker, began a Sunday School program and kicked off VBS! Now, over 20 years later, Andrea facilitates our church's children's ministry which has over 120 volunteers and approximately 250 kids at our kid's night and about 100 kids on Sunday mornings. She loves teaching kids about the love of Jesus and what it means to live a Jesus life.
Shayna Morales
Director of Finance and Human Resources
Shayna Morales é um gênio financeiro cuja fé inabalável em Deus guia sua sabedoria. Um farol de ajuda e bondade, ela está sempre disposta a apoiar os outros. Sua perspicácia financeira e força espiritual criam uma mistura inspiradora de mordomia e serviço.
Melissa Doty
Bookkeeper
Melissa found Sunlight as she was married by Pastor Scott in 2018 and after that she always knew that Sunlight felt like home. As a mom of two, she wanted her kids to attend Sunlight Christian Academy, but found after being waitlisted a couple of times that she was losing hope. Who else, but God? A position opened up and her kids now attend SCA as she serves as our bookkeeper since 2024!
Seron Brown
Diretor de Adoração
Seron Brown começou a vir para a Sunlight em 2016, onde participou do grupo Redeem Young Adults. Ele se sentiu tão bem-vindo e parte da família que fez da Sunlight sua igreja local. Ele acabou se tornando estagiário de Adoração e agora atua como nosso Diretor de Adoração desde 2019.
Jake Motisi
Director of Multiply Media
Jake has been coming to Sunlight since 2013. He started as a youth student and volunteered with children’s ministry. Then, he eventually became an intern for media and found it was one of his passions. Today, he serves as the Director of Multiply Media where he is creating content for all of our church campuses!
Nicole Vasco
Communications Director
When Nicole relocated to Port St. Lucie in 2021, her family embarked on a quest for a new church community. After visiting a few churches, she stumbled upon Sunlight Church. Initially, her experience felt somewhat disconnected, but everything changed when her and her husband crossed paths with Aaron. Instantly, a sense of belonging washed over them. For the past three years, she has proudly been a dedicated member of Sunlight Church. Serving as our Communications Director, every day brings her joy as she actively participates in God's divine mission to foster deeper understanding and love for Jesus.
Trinity Nazario
Director of Saint Lucie West Media
Trinity has been with our SLW campus team since September 2021, starting out as a media intern. Now, she is the go-to Media Director, handling all sorts of cool stuff to help our church connect better. She runs our social media, makes videos and graphics, and basically uses media to spread the word and bring our community together.
Ethan Cohen
Production Manager & Sports Coordinator
Ethan has been coming to Sunlight since he was 3 years old as he was a student at SCA. He’s grown up in the church going to Sunday School and eventually Youth Group. He started volunteering on the tech team in 2020 and he has been on staff since 2021 as an intern for Worship and now as Production Manager. He also handles all of the sports groups that we have at our church!
Eddie Nieves
Facilities Manager
In 2019, Eddie’s journey took a turn as he found Sunlight. Before embarking on this path, Eddie had dedicated a remarkable 15 years of his life to a cherished church but driven by a hunger for a more profound comprehension of the things of God; he began attending Sunlight. Eddie actively serves as our Facilities Manager, but beyond these roles, he actively engages in several ministries, from basketball to preaching and teaching the word of God.
Charles Corral
Facilities Technician & Worship Intern
Charles works on both the worship team and the facilities team here at Sunlight. His journey to Sunlight was one he's convinced God put him on. After being reconnected with an old friend of his, it led him to start serving in worship on Sunday mornings. Now he is on staff and he loves the community that he has gotten involved in!
Josh Sackrowitz
Facilities Technician
Josh is a tech-savvy individual with deep faith, embodying a perfect blend of skill and spirituality. His willingness to help knows no bounds, reflecting a heart that’s always ready to serve and uplift, both in the digital realm and within their faith community. Josh has been on staff since 2021 and he serves as our Facilities and IT coordinator, leader of our Men’s Groups, and he is also on our prayer team!

O pastor Cory Sullivan é diretor de jovens desde 2019 e está envolvido no campus do PSL desde 2009. Ele também é marido de Kristi, pai de Dustin e é um apaixonado fazedor de discípulos.
